I did that tip when I was the PTL beauty editor! There is a lot of lipstick left in the bottom of the tube. This is a great way to finish it by using a brush!!
Go to the drug store or Ulta and buy a lipstick brush. I use mine all the time. You get a perfect line every time.

Don't use q tips you'll get fuzzy on lips. Get those disposable eye shadow pads . Sorry I don't wear makeup so I don't know what they are called. Maybe applicators?

If I have any complaint about you whatsoever, it’s that I don’t believe that you personally looked at the item that I sent you and gave me a fair appraisal. I think it was given by someone else and it was a quick look on eBay at the same thing that I had looked at.

5 things I learned at my niece’s wedding:
1. Bridesmaids’ dresses matched in color only. Each bridesmaid chose a dress design flattering to their body type and personal style.
2. Important people to the bride and groom wore a specific color to the event. We wore blue at the bride’s request.
3. Wedding cake: Not required.
4. The Wedding March: Not required. The Beatles’ In My Life was a fine, modern substitute.
5. Aunts cry at weddings. I certainly did.

Tradition has certainly changed in todays times😊 1 of my 3 daughters got married. No wedding cake, assorted desserts instead. Not everyone likes to eat cake. My 2nd of 3 daughters is getting married in April 2026 Hawaii wedding. I have zero input which is not a bad thing. She has her inspo ideas, hired a wedding planner, working her own arrangements with zero input to complicate and stress thing.
No cake? 🎂….. impossible.

Am a big fan of letting the bridesmaids pick a style that works for them... and that they may actually wear again. If I were to do it again, I'd wear a rich purple gown and have my attendants wear black.
Weddings Today are Totally Different from when I got married. All the Old Traditions are no longer of value to the Younger Generation today.

It all sounds lovely, and I'm sure everyone had a great time celebrating with the new couple. The dresses are beautiful, and I love the "choose your own style" option! My daughter's wedding was very non traditional, as well. They had their guests follow painted stones up a (low) mountain in Colorado, where the guests gathered for the ceremony. Then off to a beautiful little AIRBNB for the reception. Only 40 special guests. They had a food truck for dinner (everyone LOVED IT!) For dessert they had a "couples cake" for the bride n groom only, and the rest of the guests had a dessert table. All traditions, old and new, are up to the newlyweds. It was very personal and special. Glad you had a nice time! Cheers!

I love that people are getting more creative with their weddings and receptions. It adds a bit more of the couple's personality to the day. I walked down the aisle with my dad to 'Goin To The Chapel' by the Dixie Cups. And our cake was not traditional. It was a long flat cake shaped like a lighthouse. The top of the lighthouse was made from a wooden birdhouse (new, clean) that my now husband cut in half to lay flat, painted black and added yellow plastic for the windows and a flashing light for the beacon. My mom and I made the cake. We had a theme wedding reception. We went to Nova Scotia for our honeymoon so we had a lighthouse/seaside theme. We had a lot of fun at the reception and others said that they did too. Doing something different makes jt more memorable for everyone too.

Couples do their own thing now. Mostly in barns or the forest. Although the barn thing is waning. Still. Lots of luxury. Outdoors is popular. It’s a new era. Most live together and have houses too before the wedding. Some weddings this year: a chateau in France, a winery in Italy, and one on the cape at the family home by the ocean. Superb food, personally tailored and reflective of the couples. All had cake. Just saying.
