I’m a klutz but Vinegar and dish soap worked on that ultimate carpet stain.
it happens again,Dawm platinum dish spray & sopping it up with paper towels, then a clean wet dish towel wipe with towel & use a shop vac if you don't have s mini scrubber, It's amazing how it takes it all up & the shop vac sucks all the moisture out!, works really well on clothes for stains also!
Hopefully it won't resurface as some stains do. 🤦

I fix my stuff too. My toilet was leaking from the main seal where it sits on the bowl. I had to drain, unscrew, remove and replace the gasket inside the tank. Not an easy task. Watched YouTube videos until I had the confidence to do it myself. It doesn't leak anymore. 🙂

Funny toilet stories: we rented a house that had a toilet that flushed fine, then intermittently would not. The landlord came out and snaked it and brought out a plastic kids bracelet. I worked in the nursing home where a toilet would work, then it wouldn’t. We’d call maintenance and it would flush fine for them. Finally, they investigated far enough to find a denture . It was just the right size to swivel in the pipe, just like the bracelet. The resident really didn’t like her dentures!
Full Bag of these left on my doorstep. They made for a super salad.

I will talk with the salon but I am tired of having to do stuff like this. Everything needs to be done twice--at least. Get it right the first time and don't put me, the customer, in this position. I'm happy to pay for your work. I think you should be paid for your work, but get it right and don't waste my time, energy or money. Am I right?
So u get some boxed hair color and take a portion of it to color roots, no one died.
Price of fame? I quit coloring when my hair stopped going with my face.

Retired stylist/instructor here with 40+ years in the industry. I would never let my client leave my salon/school with this result. They knew that it didn't or wasn't going to work out before you left.
Go gray
You need to see my lady.
Looks like they tried to use a straight ash color. Never gets good coverage. You have to add some warmth to it. A combination of gold and brown. I have been doing hair 40 years. I'd go back and tell them to redo it. That reminds me. Never use them spray on root touch ups in between your colors. They might screw things up because they act like a black sharpie basically and then the real color can't penetrate through it.
Letting hair go gray is so freeing. Lots time of time saved not sitting in salon chair. Retired hairdresser.
Lori i went natural...white Grey. MY stylist tells me people pay for my color...you just need to.fi d an experienced colorist.

Hi dr Lori been a hair stylist for 50+ years you have to go a little darker on your roots don’t put it on your ends color will not lift color on your ends put no color
I do my own. My stylist charges $125 and with in 10 days to 2 weeks my grays are back....make you hair person fix it at no charge!
Ask a trusted stylist friend who is very KNOWLEDGEABLE about whether you will damage your hair if you do a refix immediately.

A shampoo dye keeps coming up on my timeline, I can’t remember the name, but you just shampoo it in, maybe try something like that, if you don’t have highlights etc I think it’s a good option.

Instead of covering up the light roots, you should have your hair dresser help you with reverse cloring to go to your natural color. Aging with grace is always bedt.
