Just a microwaved breakfast burrito today; but yesterday I had the brunch at Shadow Lakes CC north of Pittsburgh. READY? So many many pastries, home fries, eggs with choice of cheeses, French toast,blintzes, mixed fresh fruits, sausage patties, and perfect crispy bacon, juices, coffee, and tea. No, I did not eat it all,.have learned to be selective on bountiful buffets. Yum!

miss the original blue/white with PSU mementoes overload of the original hotel. Grades are: Housekeeping B, Proximity to campus A, Furnishings B-, Valet service C-, scary lion head door knockers D. Penn State

I’ve never seen a door knocker in a hotel room. I can so see kids/drunks going around and banging them in the middle of the night…heck I’d probably do it

We stayed there last weekend and I really liked it . I thought they kept a lot of the penn state mementoes and touches of the old Nittany Lion Inn. I loved “The Stacks “ area. And Tripletts was great .

My favorite ice cream is Bassett’s Ice Cream in Philadelphia’s Reading Terminal, but I buy it by the pint now that I’m retired. My favorite flavor is Butterscotch Vanilla. So good.
